Not a one-off incident. Last year a woman had a fit while bathing her children. The kids thought she was asleep and put themselves to bed. When school realized the children weren’t in and couldn’t contact the mother they called the Grandmother. She found the kids safe and her daughter dead in the bathroom. She’d been there all night. Some people have no heart on here I don’t think the law should be changed I think it should be all schools policy to try all the numbers until an answer has been obtained to the child’s where about’s. Just in case they have been in an accident been taken or even as in this dreadful incident. It takes less than 5 minutes to call 3 numbers. Also if this was not a regular occurrence for a family I would think the school would have the Airborne jungle warfare school ft Sherman Panama snake skull shirt sense to realize something was out of sorts. Bless this poor mum and those girls just heartbreaking

Airborne jungle warfare school ft Sherman Panama snake skull shirt I did not see in the video blame really just worry about why the school did not phone to inquire about her child not turning up yeah they may have called the house, but upon receiving no answer they should have followed up straight away by calling mum where I live, especially for preschool age, calls are made if a parent did not phone in about the child being absent if the first number is not answered, they phone the next she appeared to be saying she is baffled as to why she received no school call and had she, the kiddos would not have been left with deceased dad all day she is not blaming, just upset that one call to her could have lessened the length of time the kiddos were alone with the deceased

I can see that maybe they wouldn’t follow up, if the child was ten or older, but for a child, who would have been four at the time, to not show up, and for them not to be able to get a parent on the phone, them not have to notify someone, that’s a bit weird, IMO. Here in Florida, we receive no call or anything from my children’s charter school. However, they haven’t got a bus and they’ve only got a handful of walkers so 90% of the children are driven to school by their parents. Not a huge concern of kids being snatched on their way to school. There’s also the difference of UK children being unable to take time off for a holiday without paying fees. Here in the States, you can remove your kid from school for holidays whenever you want to with no fees. Truancy officers will be called if they’re missing too many days but that’s to question parents and/or arrest or fine parents.
