But in the opposite way, I lost all movement below T5 in my spine (so my speech and arms are ok) but everything else suffered paralysis and nerve damage. It’s called Transverse myelitis. I’ve made a partial recovery and still go to the gym for cardio but have stayed away from the weights. May need to rethink that. You are an amazing person. Very inspiring I had to fight my way back to health after a brain tumor that left me with some neurological issues not easy, to say the least. Keep on doing what you do! Many blessings!

You’re amazing hun. I was nearly killed in a horrific accident and thought I would never do medical massage again or help fix those who needed it. However, I learned from my car accident and it made me an even better therapist. I have dystonia of the neck with cluster migraines all the time. There’s no cure for my Boston College Grinch shit on Syracuse Helmet, MI State and Penn State shirt or neck right now. However, helping people is my thing and it helped me in a way. There is a saying that is good comes out of bad. Whatever, James is an inspiration. Many people across this world suffer all sorts from horrific accidents, to being seriously abused both sexually, mentally and physically, the mental results of divorce, the loss of a child, the effects of war, living with autism or a loved one that is dying and many more. If you can find inspiration from desperation, you can look at life from a different aspect. I think it makes us better people. James is one example and good luck to him.

Sometimes life doesn’t lead where we want it to. Sometimes it seems unfair, some give up and I’m not bad talking them for doing that. But sometimes people rise above it like this man and go on to make others happy. That’s life, that’s what we should all strive to do, whether or not we get struck down with a disability overnight or are perfectly normal from day one till the end. People helping people. What better purpose? Good on you James Sutliff, cheers for a smile on your face for the rest of your life.
