I find balancing very relaxing and many adults and young people playing in the river liked them and some even had a go. Christmas tree this is my hallmark Christmas movie watching shirt I would suggest if people look and appreciate the beauty of nature then when considering what to recycle it may help. I don’t leave anything high enough to hurt anybody. Leave no trace is a good maxim. Make rock stacks – photograph them and knock them down. I don’t see the argument for disturbance of microhabitats because sea shores and river beds are constantly being disturbed. And yes – there are much more important environmentally damaging things to worry about.

I would genuinely love to hear this explanation for curiosity sake. I just want to hear someone explain why we should be focusing on how stacked rocks is hurting the environment more than oil spills, poisoned water, pollution, ocean dumping, Christmas tree this is my hallmark Christmas movie watching shirt and climate change. With all the horrendous things being done to the environment this is what some people choose to focus on? As with most things in life people need to learn to prioritize things. Deal with things that are causing immediate death and destruction first. Not saying it isn’t important to consider educating people to the damage it causes but let’s make sure we survive to educate them first.

My opinion, there should be places where such activity may not be done, where it will drastically affect the wildlife there. Also, those who do it should return the rocks where they got it in the first place, like putting back items that you use after, the chore is done. Placing one thing above another is so wrong! I for one am against all forms of stacking, shelf stacking, rock stacking you name it. Think about how one stone at the bottom of the pile must feel compared to the stone at the top, this is nothing more than discrimination and must be stopped
