My son has refused to wear a shirt with any words or graphics since he was 8. A few times someone made a comment on his shirt, which meant he had to engage and reply. As an adult, the same goes, except for his work shirt. It does make shopping easier, though – We go into Michael’s or some other hobby store, go to the Colin Kaepernick: believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything shirt they have for decorating and buy a few more dark colors. I just had this conversation with my husband. We always put a shirt on my son and one time we did not and that was a huge mistake now that he is older. While at the place and after so many dirty looks my husband looks at me and says never again are we doing this without a shirt.

The shirts are great and I prefer to wear neon color shirts as well as put Anthony in bright color shirts so we can spot each other if he gets away from me. It works. We went to the beach this summer for vacation and I had my kiddo wear his Colin Kaepernick: believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything shirt every day. It had it printed on the front and back so no matter which way you came upon him, you were warned. Heard today that Nike stock dropped over the Colin Kaepernick controversy, so I marched directly into Kohl’s and made a purchase in support of the peaceful protest. My grandson, Bodhi Alexander, will love his cute little shirt and his Nini’s got some sweet new kicks. I run to keep from losing my mind these days. Peaceful protest. Seriously.

It’s been a while since I’ve voiced my opinion but I think the timing is perfect! Sooooo, I see a lot of outraged people about Nike backing Colin Kaepernick and making him the face of their brand! The man who they say blatantly disrespected our beloved flag by kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem! You have every right to believe what you believe and to be mad at whatever you want to be mad at bc it is your given American right but I have one question. Y’all ready? Did you ever think about how y’all disrespect the American Flag every day by wearing it as shirts, shorts, bandanas, beer cup holders, etc? If you’re confused by what I’m asking just do some homework and look up the U.S.Flag Code! And with that being said God Bless America
