It was wrong to maybe make them believe he would be better and get them to fight court and get money and all this and waste their time where they could be up in the hospital with their precious boy. I run on feminism caffeine and social justice shirt I think it all was a misunderstanding and they should have just been straight up with them even if it was hard and said enjoy your last months with your son he’s leaving off of this machine he can’t come back from this he is brain dead or maybe they did and they still didn’t believe it. Either way, they loved him and fought for him I would have done the same, I hope they can grieve better and don’t hold themselves responsible for what has happened.

I run on feminism caffeine and social justice shirt I feel for these parents and that little boy, it is totally disgusting that in the UK that someone even a child is treated like that by our government and the courts when there is clear proof that months back he was safe to travel and could have had a shot a life. Much love to the parents and family. You fought to the bitter end for your son as any amazing parents would have done. Had baby Charlie been given the treatment months ago he would’ve stood a chance. However, the powers that be considered themselves higher than any other power and took that chance away from Charlie and his parents. It should NEVER have come to this.

His parent’s wishes should have been taken into account, so that if treatment wasn’t successful then at least they would’ve known they’d exhausted every avenue. Now they will have to live with the guilt and ‘what ifs’ for the rest of their lives. A quality of life denied not just to Charlie but his parents. This has been a shocking tragedy from beginning to end and should not have even got to the courts. I commend Charlie’s parents for fighting and hope they have support and find comfort in letting Charlie go. Such a difficult time for them, clearly parents who adore their son immensely.
