My heart may go out to my childhood where there is no hope. I may choose to “let go” to ease that child’s suffering however, IT IS NOT MY CHOICE when there is hope. If I can’t see it then the courts and child advocates should intervene on their behalf to do what it right. Most children recover from leukaemia if treated vigorously with chemo. I saw it first hand. thanks, I wasn’t aware that the government is now the owner of my child. I pray the govt has the child’s best interest seeing as a father I an incapable of doing it without the help of Uncle Sam. Well if it’s what he needs. Holistic medicine is great and it can compliment western medicine. Maybe they can use a holistic approach along with chemo. As a parent, u do what u have to. I’m native and I love my herbal remedies but it’s not above my child’s health. Cannabis does not cure cancer, it helps with the unbearable pain from cancer.

Chemotherapy & radiation are the current treatments for cancer & leukaemia has a good remission rate from undergoing those treatments. I understand the parents don’t want to see their child suffer, but the judge made the right decision. If you click on the link and watched the video it shows that the parents wanted to still treat the Stitch Svengers Shirt, but replace the chemo with Cannabis. Okay, the problem is that Cannabis treats the side effects of cancer and chemo, it does not minimize cancer at an accelerated rate like chemo. This is what happens when you get parents who do not do enough research and feels pressure to be the best parent ever… like those who don’t vaccinate. not sure why all caps, but okay. So, as far as vaccines go, I am going to give a good analogy… There is a reason we lock our doors at night. Many people never have an intruder ever approach their door at night, but never the less, do we simply go to work third shift leaving our precious children at home alone while forbidding them to lock the door? Would you ever do that given the risk you run in just saying “the kids will be fine locks are for schmucks”? As far as your allergic reaction… it was just that. Some people have an adverse reaction to things in life but it is all in the physical attributes of that one thing that caused it. I can’t get the smallpox vaccine because it has a latex stopper, but I did get the anthrax vaccines because they do not. Do I believe I would have ever gotten any of those, no? But better safe than sorry.also going to point out that had you ever died from not getting those vaccines, your mother probably would have had her day in court if we are talking about today. Not saying that to be rude but it is the logical outcome. Plus, we have more diseases out there now than we did then, and the old diseases have evolved. I decided for a short time, not to get vaccines with my youngest until I did more research on the topic. I was scared to death the whole time that something could happen to her. So, I decided to protect her from all of the possibilities. Something I should have done from the start and I am glad she is okay. I knew someone was going to say that.

So, the short answer is… don’t lock your doors. Don’t take precautions. While we are at it, let’s take all the warning labels off of everything. Nothing bad ever happens unless we are trying to be safe. We will place free toasters outside in an effort to prevent intruders from coming inside. Magnificent!no not really, what you did was downplay the common sense and took your bias and amped it up. What is the likelihood that an intruder would only break in for a toaster? You may as well say that diseases come in and take a gander at the red blood cells but do not touch. If your child is too young to not understand a fire plan (and they should all have a window in their room) or does not know how to not play with fire, you probably shouldn’t leave them home at all. However, no matter the age it is much more difficult to fight back against rapists, stalkers. my grandson was diagnosed when he was 4. He spent a long time in the hospital getting Chemo and spinal taps and just a horrible time. We watched him lose his hair, blow up like a balloon and cry every time another treatment was happening. He is now a very healthy 8 years old. Chemo saved his life.not saying it wouldn’t but I know if the holistic meds don’t work, the Stitch Svengers Shirt of survival diminish every day.
