My mother was adopted. She never met her mother, but her father found her when she was an adult, The uncle code 5 bedtime is whenever 4 the answer is always yes shirt with children of her own. I respect the adoptive parent’s wishes to wait until she was grown to give information about her biological parents. As a parent, you do what you believe is best for your children. They loved her, raised her and when she was old enough to make her own choices gave her the information. I thought it was odd that the biological mother was criticizing the girl working a part-time job that her older daughter didn’t have to. I would just be glad that someone took in my child that I couldn’t raise, loved her & gave her a good life.

Erinn Stephan, The uncle code 5 bedtime is whenever 4 the answer is always yes shirt I disagree I think both sets of parents are only human/ making choices that affected Kati so no fault to either. The adopted parents might of been nervous for many reason yeah the letter said to meet but really if I got a letter with no knowledge of the people no background information id be very cautious with letting my daughter just up and go halfway around the world to meet them at the age of 10 so waiting until she was older to absorb the emotions and trauma from both sides.

Cheers to the bittersweet life of an adopted child. I am adopted too, and from the apologies and regrets of my biological parents that I never heard, to the pain of seeing them with my siblings (I’m the only one removed from the family, btw), and to the day that I have never felt loved by my own, will definitely haunt me and share the space on my deathbed. I’d be forever grateful for my adoptive mother and father (now both in heaven) whose love has always helped me stay standing in the midst of challenges. To Kati, thanks for sharing your story, you have an amazing family on both sides of the world!
