There are those who have to work Christmas day too. I am working evenings and weekends, miss, so much with my kids. I will work most of Christmas too. This MiMi is loved to the moon and back shirt I am a carer and we can’t book it off. I work me the community and there are vulnerable people who need us 365 days a year. I can’t book it off.  Loved this, lots of comments about guilt but I saw it as a parent noticing her child wanted her time & absolutely knowing how she wanted to spend that time when an unexpected chance came up, made me cry too. As a parent of teenagers, it’s lovely getting those moments with them when a lot of our time is spent guiding them. This advert actually makes me feel really sad, our babies grow up in the blink of an eye and I know I’ve missed so much by having to work but I did it for them. I would love to be a stay at home mom, Work isn’t a choice it’s a necessity my babies are my choice and always will be here’s to all Those moms and dads who have no choice but to work especially over this time of year Merry Christmas

Brilliant brought a tear to my eye. Children don’t need lots of presents it nice but want they want more than anything is your time and love. This MiMi is loved to the moon and back shirt It’s so relatable we’re all busy working etc sometimes we just need to stop and just give our time. Well done BBC you’ve definitely topped last year which was hard as I loved that one also Merry Christmas. People can’t just drop their responsibilities. To me, it reminds me how the pressure of life means no one has time anymore. Everyone is so busy trying to keep afloat that they can’t truly check on the wellbeing of their loved ones, or offer as much time as they would like. Maybe that’s just my cynical view on life.

A perfect example of how today’s society affects children and working parents. Parents who would much rather take care of there children, instead of working hard for nothing at the end of the month. And people ask what has happened to our youth. They have no parents because they’re too exhausted doing everything but be by their child’s side. Nothing like making parents feel even more guilty, pressured, inadequate and stressed than they already do! Most parents, of course, would love to spend more time with their children ( and I’m sure they do with every chance they get) but with work, keeping a home, finances, being a wife/husband, mother/father and trying to give your children the world is hard! You can’t give 100% of your time to just one thing. Every parent is doing the best they can and that’s all anyone can ask for. Videos like this aren’t helpful, they’re just piling pressure and guilt on top of an already exhausted parent.
