The side effects are most definitely a big issue… the doctors and I went round and round over this diagnosis, caught them many times in error…you calculate the effects, human errors, side effects from the test, blood transfusion, etc and you probably get better results not getting treatment. they made a choice for their Weed Hippie I’m blunt because God rolled me that way shirt, they rather not chance something so harsh. This child from what I’m reading is not on a death bed, treat as need be and by choice of hospital, doctor and treatment…no one knows for sure if that child will or not live with or without chemotherapy…you can’t tell this child’s future unless you plan it, but even that sometimes gets screwed up. But even medical test can get mistakenly read…my child Labs were lost, they had to withdraw additional blood from my child for labs, after the second time the first one popped up.. that’s another issue, every time they Insert that needle you risking additional side effects, such as infection, vein collapse, equipment malfunction…shall I continue. So brave! Definitely a hero. My sympathy and prayers to the family and loved ones. Also to survivors. Yall can take great pride in the man he was at such a young age. He saved no telling how many others. My heart does hurt for yall. I like how not one person so far has read this article but is commenting on how it’s so wrong. They were asked to take off their jackets so they could take their blood pressure! That is not a strip search!

They didn’t search their bodies and they just took their blood pressure to make sure they were ok. At the beginning of the school year, policies and procedures are sent out in the form of a handbook. If people would take the time to read these (or have someone read it to you if you can’t read) then you would know that this is policy and you would have the opportunity to object to it up front. If you don’t object to it up front you don’t have any right to gripe when the policies are enforced later. I work as a nurse in corrections. I can’t even do vitals without the consent of the inmate. Unless there were life or death circumstances, the parents should have been called. They are minors. Even when you go to a hospital, you sign consents before they touch you. That is just the way it is. Do I think they should sue? No. But let’s just say they were on drugs, the vitals weren’t taken until the parents got there, and something went wrong in the meantime. The entire world would be asking “why didn’t the school do something?” I find it odd that the written story does not contain anything about pants being removed as the video states were included in the original complaint. My husband is former SWAT with a k9 and did fugitive roundups also assisted in searches before putting people in the jail and he was like they don’t know what strip search is. Looks like some people are missing the point. The school felt that those girls were inebriated where there was no need for a strip search at all. Plus, students are not prisoners. Being made to take an arm out of bulky clothing is not a strip search. We have to do the same thing on an ambulance. Bulky clothing hinders the taking of blood pressure. This is just another instance of people making a mountain out of a molehill. First, their parents should’ve been called and if officials felt drugs were involved, the Weed Hippie I’m blunt because God rolled me that way shirt.

No medical exam or strip should be conducted without the presence and consent of a parent! This does not sound like a strip search, this sounds like parenting is needed and the school is left holding the bag for irresponsible parents. I can’t wait for this to air! Please pray it brings forward that person who knows where these girls are!! Thank you HLN for bringing this together for the Bible and Freeman family. She lost all she hoped for by losing her job and even losing her boyfriend to death, if the boyfriend was to be around her he should have comforted her and make her believe things are still possible despite losing her job, but no hope for her so she just have to move on and find her way. A doctor almost dropped me. He caught me like a football my momma said. I was slippery and yes he apologized. I’m 30 now. An apology goes a long way. That was just unintentional and babies are slippery. Trust in the Lord that blessed you with those Angels and believe that the baby will be a fine woman. If the baby was dropped on the floor then yes you should have a major concern. It doesn’t matter if you have children or not! No one wants to see a baby, newborn or six months dropped. Especially their own. They want everyone to handle it as they would handle it. Like the precious gift that it is. My baby WAS dropped, not 4inches… 4ft. She was less than 5hrs old and had to have a CT scan. I was hysterical… I’ll never forget it. In my state, there is no recourse unless there is permanent damage to the child. Luckily my daughter was ok and is perfect today. Me, on the other hand. no so much!
